Authentic Panchakarma in Kerala's finest Ayurvedic traditions. Houseboat nights on Vembanad Lake where the water reflects the palms. Tea estates at 1,600 metres where clouds move through the plantation at dawn. Wildlife at Periyar. Eight nights of genuine restoration.
Kerala is not one landscape. It is a sequence of them, from the Western Ghats down through the tea and spice country to the backwater network that runs the length of the state — 900 kilometres of canals, lakes and rivers that are not roads but waterways, where rice barges once moved the harvest and kettuvallam houseboats now move slowly under coconut palms.
This journey enters all of them. We begin in Thekkady, at the edge of the Periyar Tiger Reserve — where elephant sightings are common and the spice estates begin. We move to Munnar's high altitude tea country, then descend to Kumarakom on Vembanad Lake for the Ayurvedic programme. The journey ends on the backwaters at Alleppey — a night on a traditional kettuvallam, moving through the water world at two kilometres an hour.
The Ayurveda here is not spa Ayurveda. We work with an accredited physician to design a programme around your constitution and your goals. Minimum three nights is required for Panchakarma to have genuine effect.
Tell us what you're looking for — restoration, nature, culture, or all of it. We'll design a Kerala journey that delivers it properly.
