Journey Overview

Begin in Madurai — the temple city that never stops pulsing — with a dawn visit to the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple before its corridors fill with the day's devotees. Then journey south-east along the Palk Strait to Rameswaram, the sacred island where Lord Rama is said to have built his bridge to Lanka. The Ramanathaswamy Temple holds 22 sacred Theerthas — each a ritual bath believed to cleanse the soul — a circuit our guides navigate with reverence and expert knowledge.
